Date night with the hubby: Shen Yun
Beautiful Chinese dancing, music and costumes based on Chinese history and current government. Been wanting to watch this for years. Thanks for getting us tickets baby
Thinking about warm, sunny, beach days. This rain is NOT my thannnggg.. Also, thankful that my son gets tan because i cant be doubled blinded by his AND his dads whiteness ;)
Really though, where does the time go? One min he's 9 months old we are on our first beach trip enjoying the sand, the sun, and stressing on how im going to breastfed you with all these people around... The next its 2019 he's in the back seat with his new Raptor Fingerling saying "THIS IS SICK, HUH DAD?"
Motherhood is WILD ya'll especially if you have a boy then you know the kind of WILD im talking about... But i wouldnt ask to change a single thing. He is my life, my heart song. RAIN RAIN GOOOOOO AWAAYYYYYYYYYYY. #LeviCurtisNixon#Raingoaway#LifeWithLevi#ILoveMyLevi#LeviCurtisNixon #Mama &Levi #HuntingtonBeach#JustALilBaby#TimeFlies#TakeMeBackInTime#JustForAVisit
Yeah—totally late to the party, because I didn’t share this on my personal page a month or so ago when others were playing the game—but left pic (my 1st FB profile) taken around Sept 2002 and on the right, my current one was taken November 2018.
Not a huge difference besides I was a little more plump and my skin was smoother and brighter back then; a look I can accomplish again if I try. #goals#takemebackintime#nostalgic
Yesterday started out as good day. The kids behaved during church, my Sunday school class was heartfelt, and although it was cold, it was a beautiful sunny day. Then I get a message that a friend of ours was in the area and wanted to stop by for a visit. It was a fabulous, non-judgmental (because my house was not related for company), full of good chats, sweet visit and it simply made my day! 😃
It took me back to when I was a kid. On Sundays my Mama and I would go visit my Grandmother and take her out to lunch, to the grocery store, and always ALWAYS drive around looking at how the area had changed. And it never failed that we’d drop in on a friend somewhere along the way. It was the age before cell phones, so there was no courtesy call or text to see if it was ok. Most of the time it was a little old lady friend of my Grandmothers, so of course they were dressed and prepped for company on a Sunday afternoon. 👵🏼
I would explore their home, or some would have games and toys for their grandchildren that I would quietly play with in the corner. Always a piece of candy or a treat. Sometimes boredom as they say and talked for a couple hours. I may not have always enjoyed these visits when I was a child, but now as an adult I cherish the nostalgia.
Yesterday’s impromptu visit was not only sweet and special in the moment, but it took me back in time to something I didn’t even realize I missed. And that made me smile the rest of the day!
