  • I've been doing interior house painting for over a week. But our project is still in progress... And last night @bat_matt found out his daughter needed an emergency appendectomy... in Japan, since she is studying abroad. So... at 8 pm we painted to keep our brains busy. @hiyorin1anime is doing great. Recovering like a champ. And we are all relieved here in the US. #popartpets

  • These might not be the fanciest wood arrows by today's standards, but back in the early nineties when the Portland trailblazers were taking care of business and the only wood arrows a guy ever saw were those he saw in person, I thought my dad had made the coolest damn arrows on Earth. I was probably 10 years old. Every September he would head to Eastern Oregon to take up the challenge of bowhunting mule deer and elk. I was at home rooting for him like we rooted for the blazers in a series against the Jazz. He was a damn good hunter, but as a bowhunter you sometimes come back with nothing but stories of close calls. When that was the case, I was damn disappointed in him. I couldn't understand how my dad, a crackshot with his recurve, a patient hunter, a student of wildlife biology, who would prepare all summer long, could come back from a week long hunt...empty-handed. Well, I am 37 now, and I have come back home empty-handed plenty of times, and well, I get it now. I am confident that if I picked up the modern compound bow each September, I would fill my elk tag every year. But the disappointment I would have in myself would be far greater than the disappointment of coming home again with nothing but close call stories and a real bow in my hand.

  • Our business development team celebrated the grand opening for the merging of two restaurants - Bulls & Bears and 28 South - in the Arts & Entertainment district of downtown Hagerstown. Jay Zuspan (chef and restaurant manager) and Bowman Group have worked closely together to structure a deal that will contribute to the continued success of the restaurants and, in doing so, continue to contribute to the revitalization of Downtown Hagerstown.
The partnership between the restaurants will feature private dining options within the downtown Hagerstown area. Customers will be able to utilize five different private dining rooms / event spaces including the ballroom at Schindel-Rohrer. The Schindel-Rohrer space will allow service for up to 150 people in cocktail style, and the ability to cater to weddings, business events and other special occasions. #washcoproud #takingcareofbusiness

  • Thinking of going on vacation soon? Be sure to organize, and even file, your taxes before heading out. Who needs that task hanging over one's head before or after a relaxing getaway!? 🏖 ☀️ 🕶 #TipTuesday
