1️⃣ Emphasize strength training or weight lifting, what ever you want to call it . Just don’t rely on those purple 3lb weights to help you build muscle in all the desired places 🙄. Instead .. Lift some heavy weights with good form with exercises like squats , deadlift , hip thrust , bench press and rows . Look to challenge your self by progressively increasing the weight 💪🏽

2️⃣Focus on nutrition ! If you want to get strong and build muscle you need to be eating the right amount of protein for your body . If you want to get toned , you have to eat the right amount of calories so you lose fat , which will make your muscle more visible 👀

3️⃣Eat in a calorie deficit ! This means increased activity + less consumption of food. In other words your body is burning more calories then consuming each day . This is when fat loss occurs 👏🏽

Stress is a state of mental tension and worry caused by problems in your life, work, relationships, health etc. In other words something that causes strong feelings of worry 😬

Worry aka Stress can lead to anxiety which is a state of being anxious . Events may happen causing people to feel apprehensive and nervousness😐
.

When anxiety occurs as a result of stress for a long enough time it can turn into a mood which causes persistent sadness aka depression. It affects how you feel, think, and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems😥
.

I don’t believe people are born with depression or that it’s a disease. I also know that EVERYone endures stress regularly. However it’s the way people  RESPOND to stress both physically, mentally and emotionally that separates more successful and healthier people from others😯
.

Your response to stress can be learned and worked at. It’s not a born talent! it’s mindset tools and habits developed overtime with practice and usually learned from a mentor🤝
.

These are 5 ways that help me overcome stress , anxiety and depression🖐
.

1) SURROUND YOURSELF IN A POSITIVE ENVIORNMENT‼️ Workplace and relationships can be toxic. Changing where and who you spend your time with can be the first step to overcoming stress. You are the average of who you spend your time with ✔️
.

2) EXERCISE, NUTRITION, & SLEEP are the 3 essential medicines everyone need ‼️ In 2019 everyone knows the importance of health but have you invested in yours✔️
.

3) CONSISTENT ACTION ‼️ when we don’t do things we know we need to do we worry. 🔼action=🔽stress
.

4) FOLLOW YOUR PASSIONS‼️make time for things that make you happy😁
.

5) ASK FOR HELP‼️ it’s not a sign of weakness. Learning from others is a strength . You are not alone 💪🏽
