I maximise my holiday allowance by booking most of my international trips over public holidays (particularly Easter & Christmas) to benefit from an extended holiday. I’ve found prices around these dates to be reasonable if bookings are made far enough (4-6 months) in advance 👨🏾💻

E.g. For my Mexico and Cuba trip over the Christmas holidays, I booked 10 days off work for 20 days out of office. My friends thought I was on sabbatical 😂
White Mountain in New Hampshire is known for having some of the most treacherous weather in the United States. The NPS actually has a sign at the bottom saying this and to turn around if the weather looks bad. I guess that van is ready for anything. Maybe we should upgrade! Well, the weather looked good that day so we thought we would see if our little van could make it!

Tranquil, spotless, calm and that’s the place I like. Filled with Europeans who love to visit Kovalam in winters. While you are lying on the beach, at most times you would be surrounded by foreign tourists sunbathing. Some might be surfing, while others would be doing yoga, some would be reading , and i would be just relaxing, looking around and soaking all this beauty while I chat with another stranger

Ayurvedic Treatment is what brings them to this beautiful place. People coming to Kovalam for treatment are usually here for 14-21 days at a stretch. They love how Ayurveda can treat certain ailments of the body and mind. •

When I travel I always get talking to people I meet, and I met a German lady who was here for 21 days, moreover she has been coming to Kovalam for 12 years in a row now. The best part about this beach is that that the local hawkers don’t disturb you while you are sunbathing. Even if they have to sell you something they would come politely by your side and ask very courteously if you want to have some fruits or drinks and then go away. •

Kerela really makes sure that tourists are treated well and thereby now I understand why they have been coming for years together and still wanna come back. The smile on the face of the lady selling fruits “Some maaaango madam” , would definitely make u wan some “maaaango” •
