Super taboo here in Colombia, but I found it really interesting when @captain_colinj and I had the opportunity to meet Escobar's niece and tour one of his 600 estates containing several of his personal effects. Here you see me sitting in the plane that he used to make his first "delivery" to Panama (removed from Hacienda Napoles), his scooter painted two-tone for the days spent robbing banks in his youth, his first rally car, the jetski from "The Spy Who Loved Me" that he had crafted after seeing the film, the rooftop where he finally met his end in '93 and, ultimately, his final resting place.
😲🤢 Did she really open her mouth?? 🤢😲

Bill Murray once advised that if you find the person you think is the one, travel around the world with them and if you're still in love at the end, get married.
We may not have traveled the whole world, but we did go to San Francisco (and maybe a few other places). That first trip was eye opening. Then manfriend carried around an empty looking backpack and wouldn't talk about what was in it. I had all sorts of paranoia. Turns out it was a tube of orajel. He had tooth pain and didn't want to tell me and "ruin the trip." Ahhhhhh, communication.
Things have a way of working out, and Antoine Desaint-Exupery's words are so true. Here's to sharing the same view! #travelon#travelstories#coupleswhotravel#sharetheview
“To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.” - Bill Bryson
I’ve said this from time about how much I’d love to learn about different cultures in their own native lands. For this trip we went during Lunar New Year as they were celebrating the coming year of the Pig. And trust me there was nothing better than seeing Peppa Pigs everywhere 🐷
Now where shall I go next? 🤔 💭
