and VERY much back to being a Mama!! Yep in a bumpy tuk tuk breastfeeding because this little bub couldn't wait another moment! Backpacking with a baby is a crazy Adventure, made much easier by breastfeeding! I often joke that I'd be too disorganised for any other option than breastfeeding. I think this would become very true on the road!
Truth be told I had a crazy difficult time in the early days of breastfeeding, it's a story I will share in more detail at point. It wasn't glam and I did cry ... alot! ...but thats not todays story, we have a

Backpacking with a baby is all about making the most of the things you can't change. Our little bub is an early bird and when you're sharing a bamboo hut with other backpackers you have to be pretty quick off the mark to get him out before he wakes everyone else up. We saw A LOT of sunrises in Asia, often Bodhi was in a baby grow and we were blurry eyed, but we loved it. We would make the most of the morning have breakfast on the go and then come back for a nap as everyone else was getting up and starting their days. I feel we saw the best of Asia this way!

Anyone else LOVE Chatuchak market in Bangkok ❤🇹🇭. We've been coming here for years and always look forward to spending the day searching out some killer steals. Chatuchak Market is the largest market in Thailand. Also known as JJ Market, it has more than 15,000 stalls and 11,505 vendors. You can literally buy anything from plants, antiques, electronics, cosmetics, pets, food and drink, fresh and dry food, ceramics, furniture and home accessories, clothing, and books. The market has been opened since 1942 and around 100k people visit every weekend. Zachy and I needed to get our hair trimmed so we sat in this great open air barber's loving the sunshine and got a cheeky crepe afterwards! Yes! 🌞🌞

Everyday I aim to be a better parent...to do better than I did yesterday. Yes, some days I am hard on myself. I know there is no such thing as a "perfect mum". Being a mum has always been my ultimate dream and I guess that's why it's so important for me to "do a good job". I feel so strongly about parenting with love, understanding and connection. So when I loose my patience or do something ungentle, I feel like I didn't do the best I could have done. This quote really hit me today... "When you feel the anger rise, practice the pause, empathize with yourself, adulthood is tough some days. Now empathize with the little heart in front of you. Childhood is tough some days." -

🇺🇸 [Werbung weil Namensnennung] After watching the skaters for a while, we enter the highest skyscraper of the Rockefeller Center ensemble vis-a-vis, where the observation deck 'Top of the Rock' is based.
We meet a wonderful doorkeeper in a neat uniform, whose job is simply to stand on the square, be present and ask people how they are and if he can help them! Unbelievable, right?
In general, we constantly notice how incredibly friendly, helpful and kind all people are here. That is, one must say, a huge difference to what we are used to from Germany, or Europe at all.
Inside the building, we first see the emblem of the 'Top of the Rock' on the wall in the foyer (great opportunity for selfies of course), and next to it a piece of art: a truely impressive chandelier that even has a name, 'Joie', and is 10 meters high!

The kids are thrilled about it and want to take it with us - okay, I'll see how I fit it into our luggage!
On the next floor, the obligatory security check is waiting for us.

But after this we can have a look around here: the way to the elevator is paved with all sorts of entertaining information and anecdotes about the building, such as the famous photo of ‚Lunch atop a Skyscraper‘!

Here is an Easy Way to Help Tidy Mums do Painting Time
What happens when you kid loves to paint but as a mum, you can't stand the mess?
Introducing "Shower Painting". This picture came from Hasi, one of the mums on this group. Her kids love to paint but after an incident which left paint all over the walls painting in their house came to a stop.
That was until she read a Curious Monkey Coaching post (see below). She knows it is important for her kids to paint because they love it. But she also knows it drives her crazy to have paint everywhere. The solution was to give them water-based paints and brushes and stand them in the shower to get creative.
Once the little artists are done she sprays them. No mess at all 👍

Der #dickbauchdienstag , endlich auch mal ein Foto von der Kugel 🐡 in der 35+5 Schwangerschaftswoche. Der Countdown läuft also und es wird - wie erwartet - alles immer etwas beschwerlicher... Zum Glück habe ich vor Kurzem @kaiserschluepfer_hamburg entdeckt, mir hilft es sehr, dass der Bauch etwas gestützt wird! Ob beim Sport oder auch so, ich empfinde es als riesen Entlastung.
Ab jetzt werdet ihr häufiger von uns hören, der #Mutterschutz hat nämlich begonnen und die Vorbereitungen laufen. Auf das neue Baby (wir wissen immer noch nicht, was es wird, Überraschung) sowie die Reisepläne, achso und nen #babyname brauchen wir auch noch 🤰😊

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
So yesterday I completed the online part of training for my nutrition and weight management qualification, now onto the 8 week case study and final assessment. I’ve learnt a lot, it’s made me more mindful of what’s in my food, more educated on how to fuel my body and what’s food does to my internals and how to help others achieve success in weight loss and getting those nutrients in. All interesting stuff!
I myself don’t eat meat, so tonight I Made quorn lettuce cups with onions, peppers and fresh chilli, with half fat cheese and half fat sour cream, bloody delicious & nutritious 😋 still a complete novice at cooking but, I will be trying lots of new recipes for us non meat eaters so watch this space.
Thanks for all the support as always guys on my journey 🥰🥰 tonight I had a kettle bell class which was fun, PT session bright and early tomorrow so let’s hope my daughter sleeps thru, Tuesday love 😘😘 #fitmum#tuesdaymotivation
