Take vacations, go as many places as you can, you can always make money, you cant always make memories. 😇
In Ladakh, you never know what surprise nature has in store for you. Pangong Lake, situated at a height of almost 4,350m, is the world’s highest saltwater lake. Its waters, which seem to be dyed in blue, stand in stark contrast to the arid mountains surrounding it. Extending to almost 160km, 40% of the Pangong Lake lies in India and the other 60% in China. Pangong Lake, one of the most famous lakes in Leh Ladakh, derives its name from the Tibetan word, “Pangong Tso”, which means “high grassland lake”. Pangong Lake is also known to change colors, appearing blue, green and red at different times. The beauty will amazed you and you cannot be described in words. The beauty of Pangong Lake is in itself reason enough to warrant a trip there. Camping at the Pangong Lake was an enthralling experience.

On the final leg of my first around the world ticket I was super tired and
had an hour or so to wait for my flight in Singapore. When I got to the gate
with no seats available I sat on the floor right next to the door... and
Sometime later I woke with a start and was the only person in the waiting
area! Where were the hundreds of people catching my flight? They must have stepped over my legs to enter the security check to get on the flight and I had slept right through it all.
I jumped up and was shooed through security and onto the plane- just about
to have my bags off loaded as a NO SHOW.
So silly.... So tired and out of whack with time zones.
Now I am careful to
set an alarm if there is the slightest chance I will snooze between flights.
Sunset through the palms, would you want to be there?
