Everyone heads down to Manek Chowk food street after they get tired of flying kites and lanterns at night. You can try the local sandwiches. They are typically made with pineapple, kiwi, or banana, covered with cheese and sometimes Nutella on white bread. Not a bad late night snack. 🥪🇮🇳

Without knowing, I arrived into Ahmedabad during Uttarayan, which is a big kite flying festival. Kite fighting is probably a better description. People stand on their rooftops and fly fighter kites which sometimes have glue and ground up glass stuck to the kite’s string which helps cut down other kites nearby. 🎏🇮🇳
