When Jonnie and I first moved in together, I was nervous.
Not about him seeing how I looked in the morning, or how I squeeze toothpaste from the middle of the tube.
That he’d finally realize how much butter I use when I cook.
And another shot showing the bed out. The bed is made up of all the seat cushions, is a full double bed size, super comfy and still gives room at the end of the bed, to get dressed, or even prepare breakfast in bed for your other half ☺️🚙🍳💓

Waves and waves and waves for days. Yewwwww! All spaghetti-armed and sunburnt and salty-eyed 🤗
Over five hours of surf today ❤️ There were lots and lots of glassy sunshiney waves of delightfulness and lots of kinda funny lumpy ones at the end.
It is now quite difficult to lift my beer. I can also feel at least five brand new muscles in my back. And my heart is also in danger of exploding with smilings ☺️
I am also kinda fizzing like a fizz ball. Tomozza morning, Barry the Bongo, Carmella, Little Stripey and I are hitting the long road north to Shippies. We are a little bit excited 🤗🌊💥

EL NIDO 🛶
Round the corner from the main (not too pretty) beach, there’s this cool spot. All the rocks have been worn down by the water, and left them freestanding (see previous pic of random rock house)
Doesn’t look much from the ground, but the dronage was in point.
All the locals were staring at us, like they all seem to do in the Philippines (?) - and seeing the way they live makes us feel so bloody lucky, just to have houses made of bricks.
I guess some of you are wondering why I uploaded this picture of a random chair? Well.. let’s start from the beginning.
On the weekend Jared surprised me with a one night getaway ( CHILD FREE ) It was sooo peaceful. Maybe a little too peaceful, so we ended up making a little ruckus of our own 😂
While cruising down the bending roads, I couldn’t even get the words out before Jared yells, “Aw look! A PAPASAN CHAIR!!”.
We just looked at each other and laughed! We knew exactly what each other was thinking. Us being us - we turned around for that papasan chair. Lucky enough, we managed to do a hell of a U turn down the bottom of the road. If you saw this bending, skinny ass road with the powerlines almost touching Berma’s back - you WOULD NOT have attempted it but man, we weren’t leaving without that chair. You could only imagine the situation we were putting ourselves in.
While recovering from a knee reconstruction and being out of the brace for only just a week now, I jumped out of the bus and picked this chair up thinking I’d be able to just chuck it in and we could drive off. But of course that wasn’t the case.
Remember in high school when you were forever getting your bag stuck in or out of the school bus? Yeah.. well try fitting a papasan chair in a bus door! Not easy.
While trying to load this son of a bitch into the bus, I can hear Jared absolutely losing his shit laughing. I’m yelling out, asking for help because I can’t fit it in the god dam door way. My heart is racing at this point hoping the owners don’t come out the front... Just my luck though. I look up and there she was just looking at me 🧐 I continued on trying to put her so called “trash” into the bus.
Jared then says “It should come apart in 2 pieces!” So I then start trying to take it apart but it’s just not happening whatsoever!
While having a quick look up to see if the owner was still looking I managed to push the f#%*?! into the bus. Of course I tripped up the first step, smashing and bruising my knee but I can say it was soooo worth it and we are now proud owners of that papasan chair 🤪
Who else loves some good trash and treasure finds? *
