I subconsciously decided to wear braids on the day that I visited the Vatican in Rome. When I was a little girl my devoted catholic grandmother on my mother’s side would watch me a lot because my mother worked all the time... My grandmother used to call me “la yaya” She would always French braid my hair and put ribbons in it and would use a small bowl of water to dip her fingers in it to rub over my stray hairs on the side of my face... precious memories from my childhood...! Well I don’t know how to French braid still :( and I asked @desoray_ my little cousin to do them for me and we added ribbons from the jewelry boxes we got in Venice Italy ♥️🇮🇹 And by the way my grandmother did get saved eventually and started reading her bible a lot.
