🌿Vegan bacon chikn sandwich 🥓 with rosemary garlic mashed potatoes 🥔 , buttered @pretzilla buns using @earthbalance vegan butter, @atlas.monroe vegan Cajun southern fried chikn and their bacon with their bomb honee mustard drizzle. 💣 I legit think this is the best sandwich I’ve ever created. 🤤🚫🐔 and the best part is no animals were harmed for this delicious sandwich!

~Good morning Vietnam!!!~ 💕💕💕
God it’s good to be back!!! I’ve officially labeled myself an expat and no longer a traveler. Its amazing how traveling back to Australia taught me where I no longer want to be. The western world is no longer a world I long to be in. For two weeks in Australia I had anxiety and after a goodnight sleep and waking up to sunshine, the beach, friendly people and @dudley_therescuedog I feel amazing. .
4 years ago I prayed to be more patient and tolerant of others, living in Asia has taught me this. Funnily enough whilst in Australia I was faced with a few issues with people displaying lack of patience and tolerance for others. Instead of getting agitated, upset, angry and emotional as the old me would have, I simply walked away and said “God, thank you for showing me how I never want to be.” .
We learn to overcome each situation that is thrown our way, but the true beauty in life is learning from them and evaluating how you can improve who you are and your life from them. .
I still strive everyday to have more patience for others and to accept others for who or what they are. After my experience in Australia I am sure I’ll be even greater at this task. .

Simple, fresh, vibrant...forget about avocados, this is our new favourite way to start a lazy Sunday. The 5-ingredients you’ll need: frozen peas, garlic, lemon, fresh mint and sourdough bread. You’ll also need a food processor and a few of our pantry ingredients (salt, pepper and extra virgin olive oil) 🌿

1cm thick block of firm tofu
2 teaspoons of rice flour
1 teaspoon of 5 spice
1/2 a peach in 4 slices
1/2 spring onion roughly chopped
1 teaspoon vegan mayo
2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
1 slice of lime
1 bun sliced
3 table spoons of vegetable oil
Heat the oil in the pan. Take your square of tofu and coat it in the rice flour and 5 spice. When the oil is smoking hot carefully place the tofu in the pan. Allow to go golden brown on each side and turn. Add the slices of peach in the pan and cook for 30 either side. Spread the base bun with mayo, place the tofu on top, add the slices of peach and spring onion on top and drizzle with hoisin sauce and lime juice. Sprinkle with salt, Place the bun on top enjoy! #bestofvegan

Had vegan caviar @thenomadhotel restaurant and that made me jump higher than eva! The “caviar” was made with black truffle and layered with creamy cauliflower, served with lots of garnishes. When it came in the mini caviar tin can I was like oh my god this is such a clever idea! NoMad is 100% vegan friendly and they had vegan options off the menu. My husband and I are dairy allergy + vegan couple who can often give hard times to restaurant staffs but NoMad nailed it in their service and food. Had an amazing V-Day dinner and our marriage anniversary celebration thanks to them🙏

Let’s chat magnesium for a moment. Magnesium is the new “vitamin D” so to speak, in that deficiency is nearly becoming an epidemic. I see more deficiency than not when I run a NutrEval on my clients. Magnesium is essential for:
ATP (energy), the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and glutathione, the structure of bone, cell membranes, and chromosomes, affects the conduction of nerve impulses, muscle contraction, and normal heart rhythm, and supports deep, restorative sleep by maintaining healthy levels of GABA, a neurotransmitter that promotes sleep.
Almonds also have powerful antioxidants that can protect us from free radical damage.
A clinical trial found that 3 ounces (84 grams) of almonds per day reduced oxidative stress biomarkers by 23–34% over a four-week period. To maximize the benefits make sure to get almonds with the skin as the antioxidants are concentrated in the brown layer of the skin.
Making your own nut milk of any kind is so simple, is cheaper than store bought, reduces waste and tastes great. All you have to do is take 3 cups of water and ¼ - 1 cup of nuts or seeds. Blend in a high speed blender for 1-3 minutes. And then strain out the milk using a fine mesh strainer, nut milk bag or cheesecloth.
To reduce waste and maximize benefits it can make a face or body scrub out of the pulp! I’ll save that for another post, comment “me” if you are interested in a face/body scrub recipe.
