Smile and let the magic happens ✨.
Happy Thursday beautiful souls.

‘Sometimes, it’s okay if the only thing you have done today was breathe’ ✨
I was sent this quote by a friend a few years ago when I was really struggling with my anxiety. I’ve always been someone who puts so much pressure on myself, having to make everyday full of ‘productivity’, feeling disheartened and frustrated if I didn’t manage to do the things I thought I ‘needed’ to do.
Sometimes I’d lay in bed at night thinking, ‘oh I have really just wasted the day’.
I started a habit of thinking and writing down the things I have achieved in the day before I go to sleep.
Some day’s... like today, I got SO much done, and finished all of the jobs I needed to do. Other days however, the thought of even getting dressed seems like the hardest of tasks.
I make sure I practice this everyday, regardless of whether I consider my day to have been ‘productive’. The more I practice and think about my days, the more I note down the little things, then the more I realise I’ve accomplished a lot more that I thought.
Some examples of the things I used to just miss from my list include, making my bed, sitting down to eat breakfast, washing my face, finishing a few more pieces of my puzzle, having a phone call with my sister, some days, especially in the past, even getting out of bed was an accomplishment. .
So if you’re finding a day particularly challenging... it’s okay to take the pressure off.
It’s okay to focus of the little wins, like getting out of bed, washing your face and brushing your teeth.
It’s okay to slow things down.
It’s okay to leave some things for another day.
And like the quote says... it’s okay if the only thing you have done today is breathe.❤️

@karenmattar 🙏 We tend to wake up very stiff in the morning! (I know I do!). Before rushing into your busy day and checking your to-do list, give your body a nice stretch - 5 minutes only 😊 your body will feel better!
Try this tomorrow morning and let me know how you feel! 😎 enjoy! ❤️

Yoga, movement, laughter and friends are all of my favourite things and in my opinion the best medicines. They are what keep me happy, sane and light up my soul.
Yoga for me has become a deeply meditative practice that encourages me to look within and really dig deep. It continues to teach me more and more about myself every time I step on my mat, but that’s not to say that it can’t also be full of creativity and FUN!!!!
Laughing, falling and playing around, in my opinion, should all be apart of the process in any activity. I think any movement should be done because it makes you FEEL good - mind and body.
And weather thats through yoga, dance, running, sport or whatever it is, it should be done out of a place of love and pure joy for the activity. Yeah sometimes I step onto my mat and it’s uncomfortable, frustrating and definitely not easy, but it also always feels nourishing and empowering, and definitely supports my mental health.
If something continuously feels forced and chore like, then in my opinion, ditch it and try something NEW!
The flow in this video has been sped up a little... but I just couldn’t cut out all the laughter and fun that came with our practice today. ❤️

Happiness is a choice. Every day you have the chance to decide if you want to be happy or not.
Your body and your mind is different every day, depending on the circumstances.
Sometimes there will be days where it’s more challenging to choose happiness. Practicing gratitude and to write things down can help you to stay positive. Maybe it would help you if you talk to someone, to let go of your thoughts. Or maybe you just learn to accept the fact, that you don’t have to be happy every moment of life.
Learn to accept the rhythm of life, of your body and your mind - and happiness will come to you.

If you don’t see a door; build one and create opportunities for yourself.
Instead of saying "I can’t" believe than you can. Because it’s true.
Change your environment and don’t be scared to have new experiences. Take risk.
Identify what is holding you back and you can work on it.
Give yourself permission to fail and mess up. Keep going you don’t have to be perfect.

Find balance - stop forcing, start flowing. .
There is something so satisfying about getting into this toe stand variation. I’ve seen it done so many times on @instagram and thought I’d try it at the end of last year but just couldn’t get my balance - even for a second. It was really frustrating me that I couldn’t make this posture happen. So I let it go for a few weeks and tried again this week. I calmed my mind, breathed and found balance. .
I got my @mantradogyoga mat today! So excited! If you told me a month ago that I would buy this mat let alone enjoy hot yoga...I would've told you that you were crazy! 😵
I got to try it out in a Yin Sound Bath class tonight with @taliateal and I LOVE it! 😍
I love this mat so much, I'm actually considering a 7 am Vinyasa class tomorrow morning just to be able to test it out in the heat! 🔥
I mean how can you not love this company?! Look at that dog! #downwarddoggoals I mean my husband was sold on Scout & Cellar based on the dog labels😂
This mat is made out of ALL NATURAL TREE RUBBER and CORK! My co-worker @glcubel thinks that it's very on brand for me! 👌All natural/sustainable mat for an Clean-Crafted Wine Consultant! "Che Fico!" .
If you want to know what I really think about this mat (after I test it out for four hot yoga classes), join my Facebook group, Clean Living!

For my #FridayNightFlow and for my @gymshark#gymshark66 challenge, I will end my week with spending some time to create a space for opening up to receive love and for the first time creating my own flow....♥️💪🏾Often times, we as humans, create a wall for protection, impeding on allowing light and love into our lives. We have to acknowledge that things do happen, to us all, that may break our hearts, our spirits an yea even our egos. But leading with an open heart will allow us to heal. Allow, us to find new ways to love and receive love. And allow us to lead happier and healthier emotional lives. DISCLAIMER: There is nothing wrong with leading with caution, but do not allow this caution to infringe upon opportunity to connect with someone who is genuine. Someone who is ready to receive and give light. Let someone give you #butterflies#namaste#fridayflow#loveandlight#openheart#yoga#yogi#vinyasa#vinyasaflow#fitness#blackgirlmagic

👉Here's just a few of the most commonly asked questions and comments I here A LOT regarding yoga: ☆
"I wanna try yoga 🧘🏽♀️, but I can't even touch my toes." OR "I wanna try yoga, but how do I get started?" OR "I suck at yoga, therefore it's not for me." ☆
If trying yoga is something you want to do in 2019 and haven't had the courage to start yet... Here are some things you may want to consider 🤔. ☆
1. First and foremost, if you can breath-- you can do yoga! Any- BODY can do yoga." The goal is NOT to touch your toes, and certainly not to walk- in bendi already. Flexibility is just a bonus that comes with a consistent practice 😀. When I started my journey, I could not do most of the things I can do now. A consistent yoga practice is what it takes 👍🏼. ☆
2. Start by looking for studios near you. It's also important for you to know what class you are attending. Look at their website and read their class descriptions. See which of those is the best fit for you. You can also call the studio and ask them which class they would suggest for you to attend. If you only have access to a gym, then take 'gym' yoga. There are also great resources if you want to practice yoga at home, ie: yoga apps, YouTube, & certain yoga websites (usually w/ membership $fee), will have yoga videos for you to follow along with.
Anywhere you can start. Start. You can do it! Go for it 👊🏼! 3. You don't have a yoga mat, you say? We got you covered! Most yoga studios will have mat to borrow or rent, so you can't use that excuse 😄. AND-- you can also find a starter yoga mat for as low as $10-$15 and upgrade it later. ☆
4. Last but not least, no one cares what you look like in your poses! Everyone is too busy focusing on themselves to care 🤣🤷🏻♀️. The hardest part is making it to your mat 😉. ☆

what does it mean to “grow”? we are constantly being bombarded with the idea that growth = more, more, more! but growth isn’t always linear. sometimes to grow we have to go back to the beginning and start again. sometimes growth is downwards, outwards, and spreading in all different directions. it’s messy and scary and usually happens from the outside in and may not even look like what we think it should. this process, this practice, it isn’t pretty or perfect, but we have the ability to create space for our growth. “when a flower doesn’t bloom you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.” come grow with me this weekend. 11:30am level 2 @rayogastudios lb tomorrow & 10:30am all levels @yoga108studio sunday. #yoga#yogi#flow#vinyasa#practicenotperfection#longbeach#grow

FREE YOUR MIND, BODY & SOUL. Come and plant the seeds of freedom with us in magical Bali, the island of thousand gods! @m_y_bodyandsoul and me are inviting you to 7 days full of yoga, sun, good vibes and Balinese bliss.
Kasia is an amazing human being and a 500 RYT Yoga Instructor trained in Rishikesh, India and Bali, Indonesia. After quitting a career in Law, she focused on a more holistic approach to life through yoga, plant based food and mindful practises looking for integration of body, mind and spirit. She also offers sound and vibrational healing using the ancient Tibetan bowls to fully relax and release the body and mind.
And to me: I'm a 200 RYT Yoga Instructor trained at the Yoga Barn in Ubud, Bali. Currently, I'm hosting people from around the world at Villa Bodensee and sharing my knowledge in yoga, meditation and language courses with the community. I decided that it's more important for me to share my healing vibes and unconditional love for all beings with the world, so I left Business School one year ago to pursue these dreams. Peace is the mission!
