One of the biggest wedding trends we’ll see this year? The grazing table! Think of it as a cheese & charcuterie board on steroids! Listen to Cory and I talk about this trend and more on the latest episode of The Woman Getting Married Podcast (link in profile). 🥕🥒🥖🧀 Crazy awesome grazing table by @savourandgraze via @greenweddingshoes
I had the pleasure of spending the last six days on the east coast with good friends who cooked for me, drove me to new places, truly heard me, and genuinely and wholly cared for me. I worked as well, photographing this darling couple pictured here, but it hardly felt like work as I witnessed their love while also bonding over shared interests and experiences like an adoration for Edinburgh, Scotland and growing up as an athlete. It was such a restful time, even in the cold and mercurial weather.
As a digital photographer in a saturated field, it’s easy for me to get caught up in this feeling of needing to be online at all times. Even when I’m not actively working. It’s an expectation I put on myself, but it’s there nonetheless. This time away was a sweet reminder that I’m valued for more than my online presence or my following or my likes. That intentional breaks from this space are vital. That life exists outside this artificial sphere. All things I know consciously but sometimes struggle to put into practice. Praise for good friends and good food and good wine and Settlers of Catan 🙏🏻
Why not keep it going...! I’m sure you’re familiar with this face. The face that’s always glowing; the face with that contagious smile; the face of determination, courage, and ambition. Our girl Natasha is back in the office this week 💕 Stop by her page @aisleandco and say hey if you haven’t yet! 😄
This ceremony was beautiful! The ruins of Antigua were historically amazing and humbling. I am so thankful to have been able to not only experience this location, but capture such a timeless moment in such a timeless place.
relationships are more than cute social media posts. they are the long talks about money management, telling each other the ugly truth when no one else does, teaching each other better life habits, praying together and understanding each other's communication style. thank you @kenvirula for blessing me with all of these things. happy anniversary my love, here’s to our last anniversary without the same last name ❤️
