People like to assume the girl on the left was miserable and hated herself. ⠀

I had just had a successful (& super empowering) VBAC after a very sick, very hellish pregnancy where I had gained 80 lbs (again) and experienced a painfully challenging season of life. ⠀
⠀
I was feeling more powerful, happy, and hopeful than I had in a long time. ⠀
⠀
No matter how my body looked, I knew I was fucking fierce. ⠀
⠀
I was ready to level up and prove to myself that I could do absolutely anything. ⠀
⠀
I have so much respect and love for that girl on the left. She got me here, to a place where I am thriving and excited to wake up every day. ⠀
⠀
She knew what she wanted and she got to work. ⠀
⠀
She showed up and took care of her health everyday, even when she was tired. Even when she was stressed. Even while taking care of an infant & a 4 year old full time. Even while running her own business. Hard stuff. ⠀
⠀
We are all busy. We are all tired. We all have excuses we could use for not prioritizing our health. ⠀
⠀
But remember this - someone somewhere is busier than you AND is doing more than you. ⠀
⠀
Release your excuses. ⠀
Accept ownership. ⠀
Get to work, girlfriend.⠀

  • When I imagined myself 85 pounds lower than my starting weight, I pictured a flat stomach with all my proportions right. As I’m getting closer and closer to my goal weight, I’m realizing that I’ll never have that body. I’m learning to accept that and love my new body that I’ve worked SO damn hard for. I ordered some swimsuits for my honeymoon (not until August...I’m a planner lol) and this is the first time I’m wearing a bikini in my adult life. I ordered high waisted bottoms but the reality is that I have cellulite, stretch marks, extra skin, chub, and a frowny face belly button. My bottoms are a medium and my tops are 38DDD and are still a little small. But I’m going to rock my new swimsuits and be PROUD of how far I’ve come.

  • IT’S A GLUTE FOCUSED DAY🍑🍑 ft da beST hype woman & swolemate💖 gotta say this workout today was way harder than anticipated; maybe I was too tired/didn’t eat enough/wasn’t fully recovered who knows?? either way my 🍑 was handed to me and is already sore so yay!!⁣

😤 barbell sumo squat 4x8⁣
😤 sumo cable squat with pulse at bottom 5x10 (ALWAYS feel these in my glutes so well)⁣
😤 dumbbell romanian deadlift 4x12⁣
😤 lying leg curl 4x10⁣
😤 hip abductor 5x10⁣
😤 glute-focused hyper extension 3xuntil failure (toes pointed out and upper back rounded to focus on glutes and limit lower back contribution)

  • hi friends just coming on here to say hi & also just here to say im in a bit of a slump and i know ive talked about this a bit lately but i wanna make sure that you guys aren’t under the impression that these things only last a day then they are done. yes my workout was bomb today, yes i have so much to be grateful for, but things still feel heavy and im still being a emosh lil brat 😂 im trying to get it outta my system tho lol one day at a time😎

  • #gratitude #gratitudepractice #dailygratitude - - - This. No, not the book only, it’s the movement I’m grateful for today. On the surface, it looks like just another way to lose weight, (Again?!) But it’s SO NOT (just) about that. Sure! This is the book I listened to that FINALLY helped me see what was happening in my brain where food is concerned. And then...in the last nearly 450 days Susan Peirce Thompson, her team and the BLE community has completely changed nearly every part of my life! Spiritually? Yeah! This comes in first! I have NEVER been able to consistently have a daily spiritual practice (for me that looks like Bible study, prayer, journaling and reading other uplifting material. But you can do it however works for you.) This is key for me. Thank you, BLE!!! Mentally? Yeah! My brain isn’t muddied up with perpetual doses of my lifetime drug of choice! WOW!!! What a difference that makes! Phenomenal! Physically? Well, duh!!! I’m eating a HUMONGOUS about of food. LOL!!! You should see my lunchtime trough! LOL!!! And I’m getting closer and closer to my right-size body. My energy levels have are amazing, too! Emotionally? So. Much. Better!!! Moods are heaps more stable. I’m not thinking CONSTANTLY about my next “hit”/snack/nibble/meal. I’ve learned that hunger is not an emergency and I’ve learned that I’m human! Stuff happens. I make decisions sometimes that aren’t in my own best interest! Okay! What’s the next best thing I can do? BLE has given me personal structure that I have always lacked. My days are smoother, the kitchen is clean, the beds are made...all new for me. BLE has helped me to finallyFINALLY be able to and (catch this!) enjoy adulting. Ha!!! Who would have thought. So, yeah! I’m grateful!!! You have the short list, I’m living the L O N G one. For the BLE movement, I am eternally grateful.
