Happy Monday!! This weeks squat challenge consists of 50 squat step outs (25 per a side) and 50 in and out squat jumps, do these on alternating days. Side step squats today and in out jumps tomorrow (Tuesday). And so on!! Have fun work that boootyyy! 🍑 Happy President Day! 🇺🇸

The first time I did these I could barely do 1 (and I mean I still can barely do 1 pull up) but little by little, everyday you work at it. Literally none of this just happens. It’s something you work at. I still have to work at dropping all the way and pulling myself back up. Pull ups and chin ups! I still have loads of room for improvement but here I am. Damn proud of myself 🤷🏼♀️

Grasshoppers! 🦗 (that's what I call this exercise at least lol)
This exercise is great for at home workouts but can also be done at the gym with the hamstring curl machine!
The best way to get the most out of this one is to do a LOT of reps (I'm talking close to failure). Make sure you keep your knees wide and toes together and try to lift your legs off the floor as high as you can for each rep.
The second clip is a little different, form wise. Keep your heels together (since you can't bring your knees out as wide on the hamstring curl machine) and raise your legs up as high as you can. Since this is a weighted exercise it's not necessary to do quite as many reps as the bodyweight version.
