Some people, if not many, come to a point in time of their life when they won’t chase anyone anymore. Those days have come to an end. That doesn’t mean that they won’t make any effort to be in someone’s life. It doesn’t mean that they won’t express their feelings and show their interest in someone. It’s when they are met with a wall of opposition, or feel games are being played, or feel they are being lead on, they will back away and let thing’s be the way they are. The same applies if they feel they are being pushed away. In addition to all that, if they feel that someone has made no effort to stay in their life, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ll be doing thing’s without you. They just won’t be doing anything with you either. Some just reach a stage where they are happiest either way, being with someone, or being a lone Wolf. If their level of interest comes nowhere close to matching your’s, then there is no point in even continuing. Ironically, in the past, some of these same people that don’t want to chase now, felt like they were the ones that were chased. People like me. I can understand why someone wouldn’t want to do it. For people such as me, I think once you reach a particular age, you lose the energy to chase anyways. By that point, you just want someone to show you an equal amount of interest, and for one, don’t want to waste any more time. Imagine my surprise today, having found a memory card i thought i had lost with memories of my 'Eskimo' and other babies since he died, as i have been looking for it since 2016.
