To stay warm on a snowy day, yes to coffee with milk!😍
Finally it’s snowing in Reims and im@way beyond happy since it’s my first time seeing snow😳
And here are the two books I’ve finished so far in 2019 :) Both are extremely entertaining, though different in themes! Let me know if you have read them and if you do, your thoughts please!!! <3
Happy Friyay 🎉🎉 what’s everyone currently reading? I‘m rereading Fangirl, but I need to reread this underrated book that I haven’t talked about much called thE sUN is aLsO a sTaR 🌟 (there’s also a movie coming out so that’s why you should read it!)
I got this snazzy collector’s edition for Christmas and I love the purple pages (which I forgot to photograph, niiice) but let me know a book you want to reread ASAP 📖
@fairyloot announced their first exclusive collectors box theme and it is #finale the last book in the series. This box will feature an EXCLUSIVE edition of Finale that will have sprayed edges AND signed by @stephanie_garber I am sooooo excited! I loved Caraval and #legendary so much! Sign me up for this box.
What are some other collector edition boxes do you want to see Fairyloot do?
You might be thinking- Kristen is posting ANOTHER #grishaverse picture? Why yes I am. Can there be too many? In my world- NEVER.
You might be aware that @illumicrate is doing an exclusive Grisha themed box? The official theme is SAINTS AND SCARS and there are only a limited number left. It will include an exclusive #kingofscars -if you are intrigued head over to @illumicrate for all the deets.
This is just the start of my Grisha collection but there is so much I can’t fit it in one picture. Which fandom do you have the most merch for?
Oh, yes in case you notice the new cover edition for #shadowandbone is missing it is because I’m rereading it right now and am too lazy to walk downstairs to get it.
Are you a @veschwab fan? I obviously am 😂 Looking at my stack I realize I forgot to add This Savage Song. Do you have a fave of hers? All are so well done! I’ve been reading since #thenearwitch and it has been great to read all the amazing characters she has created.
If you are a fan you need to go check out @flickthewick February box which is all about The World of VE Schwab. Boxes ate on sale now! Use MFAF10 to save.
Who’s your most owned author?
As of right now, it’s Jay Kristoff for me! I’m coming in with a total of 19 owned Jay Kristoff books! & I’ve loved every single one BTW so if you haven’t read any of these, you need to ASAP!!

Are you excited for the Grishaverse to come to life on @netflix?
I’m super excited, but also a bit nervous. 🙈 I can’t wait to see all these characters come to life and I hope they are as close as possible to how I have imagined them.
¡Hola, hola!
KATE HARKER: tres personajes femeninos fuertes. Catherine Pinkerton, America Singer y Sarah.

“ You do not kneel or bend, I told myself. To anyone. You continue. “ Somaiya Daud, Mirage.
I must admit, there’s not a lot of sci-fi fiction on my shelf. Which is strange considering I love the genre so much. Maybe it’s a little bit feeling intimidated by all the options and definitely a little bit it being outside of my general reading comfort zone. With Mirage, however, I was drawn to the premise. I don’t think it’s entirely sci-fi but I think it’s close enough! Haven’t had the chance to dive into this one yet but I am eager to get to it. It’s heavily influence by Moroccan themes which I’m sure is a promise for stunning visuals. •
🍪 Q: What’s the longest you’ve gone reading without stopping?
Back in my wee days I had my spells of reading non-stop for hours but haven’t been able to have much of those recently. Well, last Friday was an exception (technically I guess we can say it was Saturday 😂) I plowed through the rest of The Wicked King until 6am after having gotten home from a night out.
Today, if you have the time, I challenge you to read through however long you can manage . . . 15mins, 30mins, and hour. Whatever your schedule allows! I’m aiming for an hour of Simon vs. and Shadow and Bone re-read later tonight. Let me know if you do it! ☺️

Have you read this book yet? What did you think?
Stephen King wrote a delightfully candid review of French’s book! Give it a read if you’re not sure about picking up this book from our store.

Q: What is one place that everyone dreams of traveling to but that you don't actually care to visit?
For me, it's actually Paris! Which might sound strange for someone who love history and love to travel ... But when I think of all the places in the world I would love to visit, they tend to fall under more wild, rural, and rugged categories.
Still, I am so excited to explore Paris within the pages of this book, THE GILDED WOLVES by Roshani Chokshi, and you can consider this your gilt-edged invitation to join me in a #FantasyReadAlong in February! (Swipe to see the challenge.)
I've seen this book in several subscription box unboxings lately, so if you've just gotten it or just added it to your #TBR , we'd love to have you join the @fantasyreadalong! It will be a blast. 💫

“ I mean, most people want to escape. Get out of their heads. Out of their lives. Stories are the easiest way to do that. “ Victoria Schwab, This Savage Song.
Hello and happy Thursday! The rain has returned over here so it’s definitely helped to kick in the creativity adrenaline. I opened my WIP again and got back into drafting mode - which was nice! I hope everyone’s goals are coming to fruition. ✨
🍪 Q: What’s the latest book that left you SHOOK by the conclusion??
Most recently for me it was The Wicked King - but before that it was definitely the Monsters of Verity duology. The second book just left me so heartbroken. There’s quite a few characters in the duology that definitely deserved better but (can most certainly name one in particular 😭) it all made sense with the plot. Sad as that may be! I really enjoyed the world-building and the characters in these books.

“ Power is much easier to acquire than it is to hold on to. “ Holly Black, The Wicked King.
Happy Friday! ✨ We got a super crazy moon coming for us this weekend - which I think calls for the perfect time to talk faeries (sshhh, just go with it).
Earlier this week, I was lucky enough to catch Holly Black on tour. She was in conversation with one of her friends, Cindy Pon, and it was such a wonderful hour. Hearing these two authors be so honest and genuine about their writing journeys was a real treat. But of course, the main course of the night was The Folk of the Air! I had already finished TWK by then and she mentioned tiny little spoiler free details about the last book. Now, if you’ve read it already . . . YOU KNOW. I felt like I lived a lifetime alongside Jude in this book - so much happens. I also liked how we got a deeper scope into faerie magic and how it functions in this world which was really interesting to read about. Also, there’s a lot of conversations in the book about murder. I honestly can’t being to say or predict what in the world will happen in book 3 but we will surely be in for a wild ride. •
The print is by meliescribbles and was a nice little treat given to us who went to a tour event! •
🍪 Q: What are you currently reading? Try describing it in three words!

What is your favorite animal?
Hi friends! I have exciting news!! I was selected to be a rep for @onceuponabookcase and I couldn’t be more ecstatic! If you haven’t visited their shop, they make gorgeous phone cases and other bookish items! Go check them out! 💛
It was so nice to have an extra day off yesterday, but now it’s back to work! I decided to check out the Goodwill sale again and found Caraval and a brand new copy of HP and the Deathly Hallows (another book of mine that had been falling apart). I can’t wait to read Caraval! I’ve heard really good things. Have you read it?
𝚁𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚄𝚙𝚍𝚊𝚝𝚎: I finished the fourth Percy Jackson book and started the fifth and final one!!! I can’t believe I’m so close to the end! I think I’m going to binge read this book so I can see how things end. As long as Percy and Annabeth end up together, I’ll be a happy Camp Half-Blood camper.
Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone! ✨

Stolen by Marlena Frank (@authorlenafrank) released today, and I can't get over how beautiful this cover is. If you're into amazing world building, and fairies this book is for you. It definitely has a Labyrinth feel to it. Check out the synopsis below 👇
It’s difficult taking care of a delusional father by yourself. Sixteen-year-old Shaleigh Mallet would rather explore and photograph dilapidated buildings than cater to her father’s dark episodes. But when she’s kidnapped by a creature who carries her atop a flying bicycle into another world, she realizes this wasn’t the escape she wanted.

SIX OF CROWS AND THE GRISHA TRILOGY ARE BEING TURNED INTO A TV SHOW ON NETFLIX AND THIS DREG COULDN’T BE HAPPIER! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 The biggest congrats to @lbardugo !! ❤️❤️❤️
•I haven’t gotten the chance to spend the time to post the last few weeks because I moved back to Paris, but I am so so excited about this news. I will say that, at first, I was super nervous. I am a little skeptical always when I hear of a book being turned into a movie, I don’t like going into things with my hopes up. Plus, I am OVERLY SUPER protective of my dregs and the grisha trilogy, really anything Leigh has written! So for the first few days after the news I was sooo nervous! But then I did research, read the articles, and saw who is working on this project and I am so happy! Plus, I trust Leigh to do right with her books! She is an amazing author, and I cannot wait to see her beautiful words on screen! 👏🏻🎉👏🏻 •
•This photo is from when I went to Amsterdam this past fall and absolutely fell In love with the city! It was beautiful, and I felt as if I were walking through the streets of Ketterdam! It was a truly amazing trip! 🌃🌃🌃

I've just found a story I started to write many years ago... I've decided to publish it chapter by chapter on @wattpad just for fun really!
See if there was anything worth continuing... if so... I might even finish it!
Have a read if you have a spare 10 mins and let me know how awful it really is! 😂🤣. Mx
“The two of us, we're the best kind of disaster. Apples and oranges. Well, more like apples and machetes.” ― Brittany Cavallaro, A Study in Charlotte
The Charlotte Holmes series has become one of my favorite YA’s, and favorite Sherlock retellings. I love that it’s based as if Sherlock and Watson had been real and their great (great?) grandchildren end up in a boarding school together, forced to solve a murder (even though at first Charlotte wants nothing to do with Jamie Watson.) And I love that Cavallaro has made a modern female Holmes while staying true to the best and worst parts of the classic Sherlock. Last year I thought “The Case for Jamie” would be the last book in the series but “A Question of Holmes” is meant to come out in March and I am DEFINITELY anticipating its release.

4.5🌟 | First, many thanks to Rockstar Books Tours and Delacorte Press for having me on this blog tour! Secondly, a greater many thanks to Laura Sebastian who has truly written a wonderful story in these first two books so far. I’m obsessed with Theo’s story and her ever continuing fight for her country and her people.
Earlier this year, I finally had a chance to pick up Ash Princess and Lady Smoke picks up right where the first left off. Again, Sebastian has written something that brings you in and doesn’t let go. Theo is no longer a prisoner, but she’s no longer free either. The plot twists and turns and will throw you for a loop at times. There are characters that you come to love more than you already had and ones that will frustrate you. Lady Smoke was everything that I didn’t know I needed. It was a great continuance of an already great story. It was heartbreaking and hopeful. If you’ve read Ash Princess, this is a second installment that you don’t want to miss. If this is the first time you’re hearing about the series, I recommend that you pick this series up. It’s definitely one that won’t disappoint. Lady Smoke releases February 5th, 2019. Make sure to check it out!!
Full review is live on the blog: #linkinbio
The Kaiser murdered Theodosia’s mother, the Fire Queen, when Theo was only six. He took her country and kept her prisoner, crowning her Ash Princess–a pet to toy with and humiliate for ten long years. That era has ended. The Kaiser thought his prisoner weak and defenseless. He didn’t realize that a sharp mind is the deadliest weapon.
Theo no longer wears a crown of ashes. She has taken back her rightful title, and a hostage–Prinz Søren. But her people remain enslaved under the Kaiser’s rule, and now she is thousands of miles away from them and her throne.
To get them back she will need an army. Only, securing an army means she must trust her aunt, the dreaded pirate Dragonsbane. And according to Dragonsbane, an army can only be produced if Theo takes a husband. Something an Astrean Queen has never done.
Theo knows that freedom comes at a price, but she is determined to find a way to save her country without losing herself.

Good morning and happy Tuesday! It's cold enough here that school was cancelled, so I didn't have to go to work today! I've got a few things to grade and plans to rearrange but I am going to use the day to make progress on Siege and Storm by @lbardugo . Can you believe King of Scars comes out next week? I can’t wait! .
Have you read The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King by @blackholly ? Which was your favorite? (If you haven't read them yet, you definitely should!) The Wicked King is my favorite, even with that ending (which was worse than The Cruel Prince ending IMO). I'm dying for The Queen of Nothing! However, perhaps the good thing about having to wait so long for The Wicked King is that I'm used to being unsatisfied, so the wait doesn't seem as long to me this time around 😅 I'm using all of the goodies from the Wicked King special edition box from @beaconbookbox to soothe my hangover (like these gorgeous art prints!) .
The #bookqueensjan19 prompt today is magic and betrayal, both key descriptors of The Cruel Prince and The Wicked King 😂😭 #books#bookstagram#reading#booksrule#booklover#bibliophile#booksofinstagram#bookobsessed#bookworm#bookdragon#readersofinstagram#yareads#thecruelprince#thewickedking#folkoftheair#hollyblack
Buonsalve readers! ❄️
Voi cosa state leggendo al momento? Questo lo avete letto?
