Let’s never be afraid to walk in the opposite direction. Because in order to find our path, we must get lost first. Get out there and try sh*t out, take risks, forget the mistake and keep the lesson.

“If you know how to be happy with the wonders of life that are already there for you to enjoy, you don't need to stress your mind and your body by striving harder and harder, and you don't need to stress this planet by purchasing more and more stuff. The Earth belongs to our children. We have already borrowed too much from it, from them; and the way things have been going, we're not sure we'll be able to give it back to them in decent shape. And who are our children, actually? They are us, because they are our own continuation. So we've been shortchanging our own selves. Much of our modern way of life is permeated by mindless overborrowing. The more we borrow, the more we lose. That's why it's critical that we wake up and see we don't need to do that anymore. What's already available in the here and now is plenty for us to be nourished, to be happy. Only that kind of insight will get us, each one of us, to stop engaging in the compulsive, self-sabotaging behaviors of our species. We need a collective awakening. One Buddha is not enough. All of us have to become Buddhas in order for our planet to have a chance. Fortunately, we have the power to wake up, to touch enlightenment from moment to moment, in our very own ordinary and, yes, busy lives. So let's start right now. Peace is your every breath.” - Thich Nhat Hanh 🦋🙏🧘🏽♂️🕉📿✨ Art🎨: @irina_happyfox

Sometimes it’s good to reflect. Past months I’ve been going through an enormous change, growth and healing. Last year I started with my yoga teacher training and not only I’ve learned a lot about the yoga lifestyle, I’ve learned a lot about the most valuable journey in my life: my personal journey. After a half year of my yoga teacher training I can now say a lot has changed. I have changed. I feel more calm, more confident, more aware and more present. I’ve learned to listen, especially to myself. I’ve learned to be alone and especially, I’ve learned how to be alone & be happy. I’ve learned to accept the things of myself I always tried to change. I’ve learned to embrace my body and to take care of it with love. I’ve learned to recognize the moments when I was in need of rest, space or time for myself. Of course I still have periods when it can be quite challenging to stay in this zone and it can be tempting to go back to my old unhealthy habits where I’m too hard on myself and I’m in constantly my head. However it feels like I’m strong enough to be aware of it and to stay in the zone of acceptance and trust. I had to go through a rough path to come closer to my light, I cried a lot, I’ve been doubting a lot, there were a lot of days I felt lost and alone, but finally it feels like I found myself again. It’s actually a weird thing that we are constantly searching to something that is already there.. Every time it comes back to me: I can trust on my own power, it’s okay to be me, I am enough. The light is already there, you just need to peel off the layers to start to shine .. ☾
Ps. I’m teaching a yoga class in Rotterdam tomorrow 😍 dm if you’re interested ✨
